- It's time to finish the job....once and for all!

Editor's note: This is an email I sent to Senator Jon Corzine (D) New Jersey, on July 10, 2005. Over the past few months, all of us together have made major progress in our mission to bring this issue to the attention of Congress and America. It is vital that we redouble our efforts t this time, and that we continue to send articles, letters, and emails to everyone and anyone who might help us to resolve this issue for bettermnet of our stock market system and our country. Together, we have accomplished much oevr the past year. Now is the time to finish the job.....once and for all. Senator Corzine,
I've been covering the issue of stock counterfeiting for over a year on my website, first as a casual observer (I wrote one article, and the response was overwhelming), and later as an avid believer and advocate for reform in the stock market. I have invested my own money and thousands of hours of my own time in an effort to bring this scandal to the attention of Congress and the general public. I have absolutely nothing to gain from this from a financial viewpoint, and truly believe that God has led me into this battle as a way to give something back to my country.
While the opposing factions will cloud the issue with accusations about whether it's truly a massive scheme to defraud investors, or whether some of the companies are defrauding investors themselves.....either way, one thing is certain....American investors have been (and are continuing to be) defrauded of in excess of one trillion dollars. Much of that money has made its way to offshore hedge funds, organized crime, and even into the hands of terrorist factions. This is truly, as the title of my first article (written in March, 2004) says, "Financial Terrorism in America".
In my opinion, and I have thousands of hours of interviews and research to back it up, this fraud is massive, widespread, and a coordinated effort to defraud America by those who are perpetuating it by taking advantage of loopholes in the trading system.....loopholes that the SEC has full knowledge of, and yet has failed to address with their half-hearted attempts at reform. They have "grandfathered in" past corruption, even though the regulations that prohibit it have been in place for nearly 70 years. They have enacted regulations, such as Regulation SHO, that do little to "fix" the system, and then, failed to enforce even those tepid rules.
I believe that your extensive background as an executive at Goldman Sachs gives you an expertise and background that is essential in understanding this problem, and that your standing as a respected member of the Senate Banking Committee gives you the proper forum to help alleviate it. As a Democrat, you must understand the dangers of investing our Social Security dollars in a stock market wrought with fraud.
EVERY DAY THAT PASSES THAT THIS FRAUD IS ALLOWED TO CONTINUE WEAKENS OUR NATION, AND IS A SERIOUS THREAT TO OUR NATIONAL SECURITY. This issue WILL NOT go way, the only question now is who will step up and do the right thing for the millions of investors who have been defrauded, the countless small companies that have been ruined, the integrity of our stock market system, and most importantly, for our country.
