While Napoleon Bonaparte will always be remembered as one of the greatest battlefield generals of the modern age (and yes, he did have Wellington whupped at Waterloo, before Bluker and his Prussians showed up), he failed in the end, simply because he had EVERYBODY pissed off at the same time. He knew he could defeat any single army on the field...but he couldn't fight 'em all at once. Adolf Hitler, while being no great general, did understand the power of "the lie" (I believe he was attributed with saying, "The bigger the lie, the more people will believe it."). He burned his own Reichstag to blame his political enemies, and then he dressed up Germans as Polish soldiers and had them attack a German radio station near the border. Of course, he had long since anointed the Jews as "the chosen people", fueling the German volk with a "nationalistic" determination, according to their race and religion.
Now, the world is faced with the so called "neo-cons" who have taken control of our country. (Personally, I find nothing "new" about these neo-cons. They look like the same old fascists to me.) These great, out-of-control egos believe they can "clean up" the Middle-East, dominate the oil patch and control the world through the new "oil democracies" (and military bases) we leave in our wake.......all the while making a tidy profit for themselves, I might add. But such a diabolical plot could only succeed with the unknowing support of the American people, and of course, the surest way to muster that support would be for the United States to suffer a major, "surprise" attack on it's own soil. Then came 9/11.
More and more people are speaking out about the lingering mysteries of that terrible day. Is it just the "conspiracy nuts", as the government likes to call them...or are we now knee deep in the murder of our own innocent citizens to promote yet another fascist regime, bent on conquering the world. I must admit, there are plenty of unanswered questions.
The smoke of the twin towers had barely cleared when we were told by our President that we would "go anywhere" to bring these perpetrators to justice. In reality, he let them escape into Pakistan and hasn't made a substantial move towards them since. It seems Bush's, "Wanted Dead or Alive" was just empty talk for the masses.......or was it that bin Laden and his Mujahadin were still needed to perpetuate the unjustified invasion of Iraq and other Middle-Eastern countries?
Could 9/11 have been an elaborate, murderous deception to get the American people behind the neo-cons despicable plans of world conquest and worldly riches? Some people certainly think so: (see article) ....and I'm not talking about just dem crazy liberals (see article)
I suppose no one should be surprised that there are men who will do absolutely anything to further their own power and wealth. We've seen it many times in the history of the world. What bothers me is that so many Americans have been so totally programmed from youth (and apparently had their entire brain sucked out of their head) that they will never, ever question authority. They are unwilling to seek out the truth, because they are afraid of it. They have forgotten that eternal vigilance is the price of liberty.......and that the truth shall set you free.
