And Now for Something Completely Different.....
Instead of the usual Faulking Truth update, I'm going to do something different this time. First, I'm going to trust you all to come to our website and catch up on what we're doing there. We've got great articles from Robin Buckallew, Down the Middle, Russell Tharp, Ken Shade, and all the usual suspects, and as always, we tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the Faulking Truth.
For now, though, I want everyone who joined our call to sign the petition to save funding for Public Television to stop and pat yourselves on the back.....Congress restored the funding last week, after a huge outcry from Americans, mainly on the internet. See? Who says we aren't accomplishing anything? Big Bird, Oscar the Grouch, and Bert and Ernie send their thanks as well.
I'd also like to ask another favor from everyone here. Go to our homepage at www.faulkingtruth.com and click on the links to sign the petition to the leaders of the G8 Summit countries asking them to act now to end world poverty. The Live 8 concerts, organized by Live Aid founder Bob Geldof (who has been my personal inspiration for the past two decades), are going on as I type this.......150 acts at 10 different concerts worldwide, all united to force our leaders to act together for the good of the world, instead of continuing down our current path of greed and destruction. There were over 20 million signatures at last count, and the summit begins on July 6th, so let them know that we are united in our desire to see our world become a better place......for everyone.
