- The Unfunny, Uninteresting, and Unedited Update of "The Faulking Truth"
by Mark Faulk It's been awhile since we've updated everyone on what's going on with The Faulking Truth. Truthfully, I couldn't think of anything funny to say, so I didn't say anything at all. Come to think of it, that never stopped me before, so here goes:
The Unfunny, Uninteresting, and Unedited Update of "The Faulking Truth":
Things have been out of control here, our hit count is up over 500% in the last month, we did an exclusive expose' on Dateline's exclusive expose' (did that make sense?) of the "Stockgate" scandal (which got them bombarded with dozens of angry emails), a true American hero died (Ray Charles), and so did an ex-President, so we made fun of him (Ronald, not Ray).
Here is the plethora of articles that you've missed if you haven't been checking in on a regular basis: Our dueling Reagan pieces are Ken Shade's "I Wanted Reagan To Live Forever" and Robin Buckallew's "Remembering Reagan" (Robin has been so prolific that you'll have to look for that one in the archives under "commentary"). Robin also contributes "Toxic Texas", which includes a "Tour of Toxic Texas" link that's fun and educational as well.

One of our mystery writers (you know, paranoia strikes deep), known only as "Down the Middle", explains once and for all the "real" reasons we are in Iraq in "Shock and Awe or Shuck and Jibe?", and in a couple of days, I'll post two more from "Down the Middle" and "To the Left", one (entitled "Let Freedom Ring") that gives a history lesson on our Bill of Rights (before our Bill of Rights becomes history), and the other one (entitled "Reefer Madness") that revisits America's favorite illegal pastime.
And, we have proof that our future is in good hands, with a commentary from our youngest contributor, Kelsey Faulk (who's young enough to be my daughter) entitled "One Nation......Indivisible". Bill Faulk (who would be old enough to be my father, if he was still with us) celebrates Father's Day with "Owed Ode on a Commode", which is quite possibly the funniest "poem" you'll ever read. And of course, we are as serious as we always are in our "Letters to the Editor" section.
And finally, the stock market scandal is blowing up in a big way. I've done several pieces exposing the scandal one step at a time, and hundreds of readers have signed up for our "stockgate activist" list. This is a continually unfolding story, and we're in the trenches on this one. Look for another article on the next day or two, it should be a good one. This scandal will turn out to be huge, and you'll have the best seat in the house to keep up with it at The Faulking Truth.
